Laser energy is delivered to the unwanted tattoo, targeting the ink and breaking it down into smaller particles. The tiny particles are then eliminated through the body’s natural processes. This results in faster clearance.
Stop use of all blood thinners including but not limited to, Advil, Asprin, and Aleve if possible. Tylenol is ok.
Do not use oral Retinols i.e., Accutane
Stop medications and antibiotics that may cause sensitivity like doxycycline, minocycline, and tetracycline.
If you have a history of cold sores, you may need a prescription for further treatment.
Avoid sun exposure at least 2 weeks prior to your treatment
If your skin currently has a deep tan wait 4 weeks before beginning treatments
Stop microdermabrasion treatments to the area
Wear loose and comfortable clothing to your appointments
Do not evaluate your skin until you have had the complete recommended sessions.
Heat sensation is expected and will last approximately 1 hour.
3 to 10 days post-treatment you may have slightly darkening of the skin which will recover without intervention.
Try to avoid sun exposure between treatments. If you experience sun exposure, you can apply SPF 50+ to protect the area.
Clean treatment area with water and soap, do not soak
Do not use any makeup on the healing area
